Here a picture of how the direction of gears work which we have talked about in class and a few examples that you can use to try to figure out the direction various gears move.
REMEMBER- Whatever direction the first gear or the driver goes, the gear connected to it goes the OPPOSITE direction!!

Which way does the
2nd gear (on the FAR right) go if the 1st gear (on the FAR left) starts turning COUNTERCLOCKWISE? What about the 3rd gear (the bottom gear)?
