Hi Students!!I just wanted to give you all the opportunity to extend your learning on the Medieval Times unit we are doing in class during Social Studies by giving you the opportunity to go through the steps to BECOMING A KNIGHT!!!
The activity is called "The Magic of Merlin" and you will be going through 4 steps in order to BECOME A KNIGHT!
1. Visiting the Castle (learn about the purpose of and the parts of a castle)
2. Train as a Page (learn about the feudal system and the people that work inside the castle!)
3. Train as a Squire (what knights wear and the weapons they use!)
4. Becoming a Knight (you will be allowed to make a presentation in class in the form of a skit, presentation, castle model and many other choices!)
We have already spoken about this activity in class and Mr. S will be helping you with any questions, or you or your parents can post on my blog and I can help you out!
